I've been in the mortgage industry for 10 years. Like many people in mortgage, I fell into it by accident. Out of school, I applied for a job thinking: well, even if I don't like this business, I'll probably need a mortgage one day, so I might as well try it and see if I learn something. What has kept me here is the mix of working with numbers (I've always loved math), the creativity—no two deals are ever the same—and the sales, marketing, and relationship-building aspect of the business. You have to market and advertise yourself, build a network of trusted referral partners, and earn their confidence.

I love helping clients who feel overwhelmed, scared, nervous, or unsure, and transforming them into confident, calm, and collected borrowers by closing day. The best compliment is when someone tells me they started the process uncertain about things, but after working with our team, they're not only happy about buying a home—they're confident in their decision and the financial knowledge they've gained. We exist to serve and educate our community.

I especially love helping second-time buyers leverage FHA loans to afford the "step up" home they thought they couldn't afford. Many people mistake FHA for a first-time homebuyer loan, but FHA stands for Federal Housing Administration—you don't need to be a first-time buyer. With just 3.5% down and competitive interest rates, even clients with imperfect credit can qualify for beautiful homes.

I'm a workaholic and I'm always available—sometimes to a fault. I over-communicate and intentionally repeat things because I really want to imprint the knowledge and confidence I have in the mortgage process onto my clients so they feel as assured as I do. Buying a home is most families' largest financial decision in their lives, and it deserves to be treated seriously and respectfully. We treat our clients the way we want to be treated. There's no such thing as a "stupid question." We're here for any and all financial, emotional, and logical decisions our clients need assistance with.

I grew up and started my mortgage career in Orlando, Florida. Now I'm based in Southwest Florida with my wife, Raechel (an MD at a children's hospital), and our young son, JJ. We work a lot—both of us regularly work weekends because assisting others is a huge part of our family identity, and we love what we do. Outside of work, I'm a sports fanatic. I play sports, watch sports, follow sports news—I love it all. We're also huge foodies and enjoy exploring new restaurants and taking walks around our community loop. Life is good when you're doing what you love with the people you love.
